GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION

The journal articles undergo a double-blind referee process. 

The manuscript shall undergo the Journal’s screening process. An initial screening of the manuscript on plagiarism and its alignment with the Journal’s objectives shall be done. A notice of acceptance shall be sent to the author via e-mail once passed. After which, the manuscript will be forwarded to its assigned referees. JEMAD shall officially inform the author of the manuscript’s acceptance for the Journal’s publication via e-mail.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Duly accomplish the SUBMISSION FORM.
  • The manuscript should be in MS Word format upon submission and has a file name following the format : JEMAD2024_Surname, First Name, Middle Initial of the Main Author (i.e. JEMAD2021_DelaCruzJuanC). To protect the anonymity in the review process, AUTHORS SHOULD NOT IDENTIFY THEMSELVES ON THE FRONT PAGE OF THE MANUSCRIPT (MS).
  • Authors should adhere to the Manuscript Guidelines for the Authors for its prescribed manuscript format.
  • The Submission form, manuscript (in MS Word format), and data of tables/graphs shall be submitted to jemad@up.edu.ph, addressed to the Editor-in-Chief. The email subject heading shall have the following format: JEMAD2024_Surname, First Name, Middle Initial of the Main Author (i.e. JEMAD2021_DelaCruzJuanC)

JOURNAL PROCESS FLOW

Each manuscript submitted by the author undergoes the editorial and production stages. Editorial includes technical screening and double-blind peer review process. Production includes copy edit, layout, and proofreading of accepted manuscripts. JEMAD targets at least two months to process the manuscript for both stages. 

PUBLICATION FEE

  • As of the moment, publication of journal articles in JEMAD is free of charge.
